It was a fun-filled night out with some of the rat pack-ers yesterday to celebrate Alvin's & Cassius' birthdays. The turnout for dinner wasn't so bad and we had a surprise guest, Wanying. We had dinner at Downtown East's Sakura. The quality of the food has deteriorated abit but it was still edible. What made me 'pissed' was there was NO ICE CREAMS la... Okay I exaggerate. There was ice cream BUT it was like the cheapo kiddy kind with vanilla & strawberry as the only flavours.
HOW CAN LIKE THAT?!?!?!?!!?!
I paid good money [$28 including GST] to have the wide selection of international food and also my share of the numerous ice cream flavours like chocolate chip, YAM, chocolate, chocolate mint etc etc. They also didn't have the durian cream puffs anymore!!
UGH!!! I'm not going back to that outlet anymore *hrumph*
After dinner, I was told an interesting piece of gossip about an acquaintance [I'm not saying the gender so you go figure] by Qihao. After hearing the 'story', it felt awkward, unbelievable and weird. I never thought he/she was that kind of person coz he/she is close to my VIP someone who was close to me. Oh wells, people tend to change when they start studying or over the years or maybe it's just coz I don't really like him/her thus he/she is still ranked in the acquaintance category. Nonetheless, it was still a juicy gossip. Haha! I'm such a KAYPO/gossip girl.
Anyway not long after, Jolene, Luv, Hiang & bf met up with us for the movie Kung Fu Panda.
IT IS SUPER HILARIOUS!!!
Those who haven't watched it MUST go watch. You'll laugh until your stomach aches and it will help train your stomach muscles. Haha.Well we couldn't catch the earlier time slots as it was ALL sold out so we caught the late night one instead. While waiting for the movie to start, we headed to the arcade to play. We played so many old and new school games - basket ball, super bishi bashi, mario kart, Flintstone memory game, time crisis 4 and some baby game that's like bishi bashi. The buttons on the machines of those 2 games were abit faulty so we kept losing and laughing coz there was nothing we could do and it looked funny. I think in total we spent about $50 there playing all the games.

Very very random: Which cars are more expensive, Maserati or Lamborghini?? I've been told Maserati cars are more expensive coz they can hit the $200k region and someone else told me Lamborghini cars are wayYyyyyyyyy much more expensive than that. Hmmm... So which is true?
To my dear classmates [who actually read my blog *gasp*] of BV 4e2 Y2K, our beloved Lydia is getting married and she's invited our WHOLE class for her wedding reception, which is held in July. Yet another reason why I dislike Chiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiina people. They can eat cute animals [without feeling guilty] like owls and hedgehogs la! It's sibeh gross lor. Owls and hedgehogs are so cute. How can they be so cruel!! Imagine if it was a white owl, wouldn't it represent Hedwig! *sobs* Not only that, they also eat giant salamanders [considered pretty magical in magical/Wiccan societies I suppose], mountain cats & venomous snakes. *shudders* Evil people!
I had 2 repeated dreams last night but I only remembered one. I was in this huge bathroom, the kind that you only see in expensive-Hollywood-kind of houses, that only has a gigantic bath tub, marbled floorings and walls and huge floor-to-ceiling glass windows that look out to the lovely ocean. Very fantasy and dream-like hor. Haha. Some of my dreams are like that thank goodness!
Well I was enjoying the view and a good soak in the tub when to my horror I saw gigantic ants! Probably the kind of killer, carnivorous ants that was shown in Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull. *shivers* So there I was, probably naked, yelling at the top of my lungs for my mum to come and get rid of it. Coz she didn't believe me the first time I told her about the ants. Lame right? LOL!
I have my dream book with me so I shall try to interpret my dreams:
Bathroom - for a young woman to dream of a bathroom, foretells that her inclinations trend too much toward light pleasures and frivolities. Makes me sound bimbotic which I am! A 'lil.
Tub - to dream of seeing a tub full of water, denotes domestic contentment. Like 'HUH?!' I so don't do housework la. Haha.
Bathing - for a young person to dream of taking a bath, means much solicitude for one of the opposite sex, fearing to lose his good opinion through the influence of others. Don't understand.
Marble - to dream of polishing marble, you will come into a pleasing inheritance. Woooo laa laa~~ I super like this one even thou I wasn't polishing marble. It was polished marble coz it was already shiny. Come to me moo lahs~~
Glass window - to look clearly through a glass window, you will have employment but will have to work subordinately. This is like one month late lor unless I'm having another part time job elsewhere. Hmmm...
Window - to see windows in your dreams, is an augury of fateful culmination to bright hopes. You will see your fairest wish go down in despair. Fruitless endeavours will be your portion. How very very true now *saderation*
Ocean - to dream of the ocean when it is calm is propitious. Very contradicting leh.
Ants - the dreamer of ants should expect many petty annoyances during the day; chasing little worries & finding general dissatisfaction in all things. Hmmm... Troubling. Very.
Well that's about all. There was nothing significant about the mother one.
I'm off from work today hence could stay out late last night and did my errands in the morning. Well gotta head to the kitchen to cook tempura soba for family dinner. If it turns out well, rat pack-ers you peeps are in for a awesomely good treat! Haha!

Oh oh! I read in today's Today that there's this Japanese company that gives their female employees 2 days per year of shopping leave and 1 day per year [I suppose] of heart-break/relationship leave. How awesome is that?! Imagine you don't have to waste extra money to fake an MC just so you can go out shopping during the GSS plus no sneaking around needed!!! And when you and your partner break up, you can take that 1 day leave to be home to cry your eyeballs out instead of doing it at work in front of the other awesomely good-looking guy that you have a tiny tiny crush on. Haha! I wanna work there!!
It's ironic that I chose today to seal & end it all. The 7th. Even though I'm smiling and laughing outside, inside I'm dead & broken. The fool that I am, I still do... I'm disappointed, sad, heart-broken, angry, depressed. DND! I just wanna scream and lose control. Forget about everything and run away...
Retail therapy after nearly 2 months of 'confinement' is DAMN SHIOK!! With the added incentive of the GSS, it's DAMN DAMN DAMN SHIOK can!!! You cannot imagine [well for guys I guess] the euphoric feeling, the rush of serotonin from the brain that leaves you feeling happy, accomplished and with a hole in your pockets. Haha...
FYI: For those non-science students or ppl who totally forgotten about their science, serotonin is a hormone which controls your mood, appetite and sleep.
I bought loads of things on Sat shopping at Vivo and it added up to slightly over $200 and that included my taxi fare back coz I was super unwilling to hop on the train and squeeze with everyone else and their shopping with my numerous bags all the way to Simei.
The things I bought:
1. a pair of pants and bag from M)Phosis 2. 2 tops from Pull & Bear 3. a dress, a pair of skinnies & another top from Niichi 4. ALOT of random stuffs from Daiso which included like 4 pairs of toe socks =X 5. lastly pimple cream from TheFaceShop
Oh yah! Another thing that made my day was I finally got my Boost!! Yippeeeeee~~ If I'm not wrong, it's currently their only store in SG at the moment. I hope they open more at various places that I frequently visit like for example Bugis. Hoho!
Tml gonna watch the latest installment of Indiana Jones. Heard from Cassius that it's nice to watch thou at times got no link one. *shrugs* Well will watch it nonetheless coz I'm kinda interested in archeology-related shows.
On another sidenote, I'm having one of those days again. I'm kinda grumpy and my eyes are tired but I can't go to bed coz my mind is freaking awake la... It sucks coz I gotta wake up early tml for work. Now's the time where I wish I wasn't working full-time and could wake up at whatever time I want. I wonder whether this can be termed as insomnia?

Working around Bugis area is making me more and more depressed. Everyday I have to walk thru most of the shops to get to the bus stop or MRT station and I would have to pass by shops which displays enormous signs that read:
S-A-L-E
It also doesn't help that shops that display those signs are shops that I usually go into. Topshop is having 50% off on most selected items which include a few nice working pants that I wanna get. Diva is having 50% off ALL accessories. Fox is having 30 - 40% storewide sale. EDC is also having 30% off selected items. I can go on and on and on but what's the point as it would make me and some of you even more depressed.
*sigh*
I almost saw an accident that happened at the junction in front of my house. I guess it can be called 'dirty' coz alot of accidents have happened there. I was sleeping soundly when I suddenly woke up. It wasn't the really really woke up kind, more of like semi-conscious kind. I also dunno what woke me up but the next thing I heard was the loud screeching of breaks followed but the sound of sinking metal and shattered glass. I hurriedly awoke, amidst the rude shock I was given at 0530 in the morning, and looked out the window to see what had happened.
But due to the trees blocking, all I could see was the car bumper, which had been dislodged, on the other side of the road and various other car parts. Even 3 of the fences on the center divider were totally flattened. I was trying to look for the main body of the car to determine whether I should call the police or an ambulance but couldn't find it. Do you think I should have called for an ambulance despite not being able to see the car and access the damage?
I ran to the living room to see whether I could get a better view but there was none. I thought of going down to look but I wasn't ready to head down in my PJs and let the whole world see. In the end, I headed back to bed and had a hard time trying to get back to sleep coz my heart was still racing.
I had bad cramps today. I could totally feel my head getting light-headed and my eyes had splotches of black which meant that I was very likely gonna faint so I hurried myself to my bed to lie down before I really do faint. But I'm all better now after taking a nap and also applying losta heat to the cramp area.
Tomorrow's a holiday! YAY!!! I feel lucky coz the whole of this year, I don't have to work for any public holidays [PH]. Hoho! So I took the chance to reformat my WHOLE lappie. It's nice, clean and empty right now. Hehe... So now I'm installing my programs and games slowly one by one so as not to overload the space.
Being offline for the past few days was rather nice but yet something was nagging at the back of my head, telling me to go online but I was just too lazy la... So today I decided to go online awhile only to find out that I had like 50 emails waiting for me to read and 200 plus spam to clear -_-||| That was only accumulated in the expanse of like 3 days?
Well work is no difference. Learning, learning and remembering. Alot of new things to take note of and remember. My feet still hurts btw. Perhaps I'm not standing or walking properly which results in my feet hurting after a few hours of standing. Anyway I'm super happy coz this year I won't be doing any public holiday duties!! Weeeeeee~~~
Have been pretty tired the past few days despite having a holiday break. Haha! Been sleeping late coz I can't really sleep even though my eyes are tired, my mind is still super active. So basically I don't sleep early and yet I have to wake up early coz I need to report to work by 8AM!
Anyhow I had a dream! I dreamt that me, Moonie, Rong & Liyana was in a Malaysia shopping centre doing what else, SHOPPING! Haha... We were at the top most floor of the shopping centre coz the lower floors suddenly had a blackout [don't ask me why blackouts can split one, it's just a dream!] and it was super pitch black. Well Liyana said she'll wait for us at the stairs so the 3 of us went roaming around. We first entered a cosmetic shop there after we parted ways. I was walking along this deserted part of the floor when I chanced upon a post office [!!!] and saw Moonie there sending something. So I carried on walking until I enter this shop that was selling super nice clothes!! There I found Rong and we started trying on so many clothes. LOL!!
I think I am having too many strange and weird dreams already...
Talking about clothes, I have been visiting Victoria's Secret website quite often these days coz they are having super sale! Huge and bad temptation! I am already eyeing so many things!!! OMG!!! So in a few months time, I would be ordering clothes. Anyone interested plsplsplspls let me know ya. Ordering in a big group will be better coz shipping would be cheaper per person.
Another thing is that I definitely need to get a new phone. There's something wrong with my phone's network coz there were times when people tried to call in, when there was a full network bar, they can't get through. That happened quite a few times some more. Any phone models to recommend?
Well back to watching my Da Chang Jin VCDs coz I had a nap in the afternoon =p
I have finally decided to blog! Yesterday was my first day of work at a new hospital, KKH. A few of the things are the same but I am still adapting to their style of working. So many things done differently and it seems rather messy to me or maybe it's coz I'm just too used to my style of working.
Anyway my feet hurts like shit! I have never stand for so long in my entire working life, I believe. The only time when I got to properly sit down was during lunch break BUT it's still ain't enough! Hmmm... Maybe I was too super slack during my "holidays" coz I was either on the chair sitting or sleeping on my bed almost never standing. Hehe... Think gonna rub some counterpain balm before I head to bed so that my tired feet will be feeling better tml =)
More work-related stuffs. I've got a locker!! Yup.. Not a cupboard but a true-blue locker with key. Hope I don't lose it or forget to bring it to work sia =X Anyway my locker is very very small! My white bag go in, no other space for other stuffs!!! Sianz... *rolls eyes* Must find some way to pack everything in nicely & neatly. I shall do it when I'm free. Perhaps Fri or Sat. Depends on my mood also. LOL!!
A good thing happened. I found my supposedly lost DS stylus. Hoho! I was clearing my bag when I was like "EH! What's that white pen-like thingy inside?" Lo and behold, it was my DS stylus. So in the end I managed to find it.
And today was Ben & Jerry's day. Initial plan was to head to one of their outlets to grab my favorite Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough BUT the queue was f*cking long la... It started from the store all the way to the other end of the floor and snaked its way back to the store la... Kaoz.. The thought of standing all the way at the back for like an hour plus killed my craving. If I was wearing my birkies, I might have queued up.
Anyway gonna watch my 大长今 again before I head to bed and rest my aching legs and tired eyes. Nothing else to blog about so until next time! Cheers~~ =)
