Woah.. Didn't realize that it's been nearly two weeks since I've last blogged. I just ended my 2 weeks of Easter break of which the school decided to cheat me of a week coz I had to spend 4 days doing my lab project. POO! Anyway the lab project went relatively well even though our cells died due to too much salt and thus they dehydrated. LOL! But we were the ONLY GROUP that managed to get cells that were in the right orientation! Hah!
For those who have no idea what I'm blabbering about it's too bad coz I ain't gonna explain the whole experiment. It's darn long lor.. Anyway lab sessions was amazingly fun, got to know some of my other coursemates better and had a great time hanging out with them drinking ice chocolate! My all-time favourite drink. Btw I learnt a new phrase during lab "doesn't matter!" Haha!
I officially started work on Mon! I was so nervous coz it's a new job and it's something totally new and there's loads for me to learn. There were cute & funny people there but there were also those bo chap kind. Oh well.. Not everything is sunny. Anyways back to the job. I learnt how to operate and cook fries! Hee... Within the hour, they threw me to do front counter duty! I was like stunned coz I don't know anything and everything and there you are throwing me to serve customers. CRAP!
It was embarassing coz here I was a newbie asking around on how to press this or that while the customer was looking at me like I should have known all these wayyyyyyyyy before I start at the front counter. Hey it's not my fault okay. If I had a choice, I wouldn't want to even stand there to serve you on my first day of training. I would rather wait until I got the hang of everything before serving you so that you would have a better experience! Man I'm starting to sound like a walking advertisement for good customer service *bleah* Actually I love good customer service. Really makes my day and I hope to make some stranger smile with my service. Haha.. I'm crazy!
Yesterday was my second day of work. It wasn't so bad coz I met one of the faci for my orientation, turns out he's working there. Haha.. So he was like teaching me whatever he knows or thinks that I should know. I was the only one serving front counter till like around 9am? No surprises there according to him coz last time it was him ALONE and he had to cover drive thru also!
I finally went to the movies to catch Mr Bean's Holiday with my roomies & 3 of my other coursemates. The movie is damn hilarious but not really fun to watch la.. That's coz the storyline is almost like the other Mr Bean movie. That's what I think of coz. Yesterday marks the first time I wore my new red boots out! Haha.. They hurt my feet coz of the height of the heel. I felt that I was walking funnily. Anyway the day was going good until my dear hp decided to DIE ON ME!!! DAMN!!
Of all times, it couldn't wait till I get my dad's phone from my aunt next month. It had to die just before I entered the cinema. I didn't save those nice photos of me & my dearest!! *sobs sobs* I also didn't save some of my messages! *mega huge sobs sobs* Now I'm sifting through Nokia's & Sony Ericsson's websites looking for nice phones. I've got my eye on 3 models; N7390/N6288/K810i. I'm stuck as to which to get. The N6288 is definitely the lousiest of all while the K810i would be the best.
Cyril advised me to get the K810i coz he's a die-hard Sony fan. Haha... My dearest intially told me to get the N6288 but after he saw my msn nick, he also suggested the K810i coz it's more sleek. Haha.. I shall need to check out the prices first before buying any phone. Damn my phone! GrrrrRrrrrrrrr
I skipped lectures today coz I wanted to spend the time doing my critique paper assignment which is like due tomorrow! Haha.. I'm really lazy. DARN! Anyway I managed to finish it before dinner thus I have the time to blog now.
I cooped myself in my room the whole day today. I probably barely spoke more than 20 sentences the entire day. Guess it's really alone day for me. I wonder why... But I know I'll be up & hyper tomorrow!
Sometimes I feel so alone even though I'm surrounded by people. Guess this feeling of loneliness and emptyness have been growing ever since I arrived here. I chose to ignore it by telling myself that I'll only be here for 10 months but I guess this feeling would still grow until I return back home. Return back to people I love, people who love me, people who I constantly hang out with, people who I bitch with about others, people I share laughters and joy with and people I love smelling =)

Happy Easter everyone! It's a longggggggggg weekend over here in Aussie coz they celebrate Easter with a holiday, so last Fri and today was a public holiday. It's good when you HAVE somewhere to go... Hiazz.. Which means that ME have nowhere to go =( My life is so sad here... Tsk tsk...
We went to Cottesloe last Fri. That place is soOooooooooo lovely!! The beach, sand, grass, trees and houses were beautiful! I'm so going there again! =) Haha.. It wayYyyyyy much better than Freo's beach =X Lol.. We were thinking of going there this Sat but plans might change due to other circumstances. Anyway I had gelato ice cream! Tried this new flavour called Ferrero instead of my usual Tiramisu. Ferrero definitely tasted like ferrero roche lor -________- Haha.. But it was equally nice la...
Sat was spent nua-ing at home. I studied a little... I have gotta start studying! I feel so slack and dumb =( While writing my notes halfway, most of my coloured pens ran outta ink!! DAMN! Now I've gotta start buying new coloured pens. Any sponsors?? Hee..
The results for my quizzes are out and I didn't do very well. I kinda expected those results but they were still disappointing. I feel so depressed all of a sudden... *sigh* Gotta buck up!
Sun I went out and got myself a job! Haha.. Guess where I'll be working?! MACS!!! LOL... The pay here is quite good so I really don't really mind working there =D This coming Wed is my orientation but I'm not sure when exactly I'll start working. But I wanna sell ice creams!! Haha.. Ever since I saw Baskin Robbins, I have wanted to work there. Wahahaha... I didn't expect Macs to immediately hire me you know.. Lol... Having not much experience in the F & B line. *shrugs* Anyhow they've hired me so I shall strive to do my best, in work & studies =X
Now I'm not sure whether I can still go for my holidays!! ArgHhhh...

I have finally finished listening to 2 hours of online lectures! Hooray to me!!! =) Haha... I missed one lecture due to a major quiz while the other one, I had no notes. So anyway information on my boring life in Perth... *chuckles*
Sat: I went to the huge warehouse market in the early morning [meaning 7AM!!]. Imagine the time I have to wake up at just to get ready. Haha.. I bought myself a carton of pearS! One of my favourite fruits. It costs $10 per carton. Ain't it cheap? Haha... I'll be eating pears for the next few days. Think I'll look up and see whether there's any nice recipes for pears. Lol. I also bought mussels for $4 per kg. Pretty cheap too! I'm such a cheapo but hey who cares as long as I get to eat good food! =)
I tried to imitate Fish & Co's buttered mussels but to no avail. The sauce turned out horribly but the mussels ain't bad to eat. Haha... My afternoon was spent with Moonie out in town. Harbourtown to be exact. There's so many nice Adidas tops that I wanted to buy! UghHhhhhhh... I gotta keep reminding myself that I'm here to study and not for holiday where I can spend my money as I please coz I still gotta survive for the rest of the year =X
We returned home rather late so I was like jokingly telling Moonie that Rong-er must have died from starvation while waiting for us to return home to cook. Haha... It was actually partially true by the way. Lol. Poor Rong-er.
Sun: It was total nua day today. Spent the whole day at home doing my chores. I swept, vacuumed & mopped the floor. You can never imagine how much dirt & dead bugs there are over here! *shudders* I so HATE bugs! Period.
Mon: My granduncle offered to take us to a new shopping centre so we followed him & spent the whole day there. Hee... It was really huge except it's single storey. There were loads of people despite it being a weekday, a Monday no less.
We walked around and went into those interesting shops. I was trying to look for a gift for my friend but couldn't find any nice ones. I found the shop where I wanted to get the cheap towels from! Haha.. It was such a coincidence coz I didn't expect that shop to be here. Anyway I bought 2 different colours; deep purple & turquoise. Lovely colours as compared to the others.
I also bought some things for my dearest =) Hope he'll like it when he sees it. Keke.. We had lunch at the food court & once again I'm like stuck at what to eat so I decided to eat this:
The portion is so freaking TINY & guess how much it costs?! 8.50!!! It's daylight robbery I tell you! The size of the container is the same as the dessert ones we have back in sg. Gosh! I was still hungry after that so I ate some of Moonie's & Rong-er's fries. Hehz. I think they put loads of MSG too coz I was feeling really thirsty. PS: It's laksa udon.
We bought some delicious biscuits as snacks & some of those went into my stomach too. Heh heh.. Their stores here are really weird. Different outlets at different places or shopping centres have very vast sale difference. This store may sell this particular top at $10 while another store would be selling it under 3 for $15! Very big difference hor?
Anyway we went to try more boots =D
Forgive us coz we have the Boots-Craze syndrome. Haha... We just try on every single pair of nice boots and take photos! We really are cam-whores. LOL!
The day ended with me feeling really tired which is surprising coz peeps would know that I can shop like crazy and not feel tired! *winks* Age must be catching up =x
Today I was at the post office sending pressies & cards! Haha.. Finally bought a better laundry bag [hopefully!] coz my old one the zipper died on me. It keeps getting stuck so finally it gave way after loads of tugging & pulling. That's all now and I shall continue watching Nana~
