Happy birthday bro! Happy belated birthday dad! As you guys can see, my dad's birthday just past and today's my bro's birthday.
On friday, during lunch time, I went out to Pearl Centre to buy my dad's present. His is a me T-shirt and his Robbie Williams cd. He's been looking for it, it seems. My mum also got a me T-shirt coz it was on offer and I've got one too!! Haha. Same as Dearest 'cept different size! Like DUH! Lolx.
Collected the cake for my dad and headed down to Conrad to meet them. I actually didn't know how to get there. No actually I KNOW how to get there, it's just that I didn't know that that was Conrad Hotel. Haha. Get the picture?
Anyway after meeting them, watching abit of tv, we headed down to Marina Square's Seoul Garden. Sad to say that that branch is closing and their last day is today!! It's coz since Marina Square is under a huge renovation, many people thought it wasn't opened so it's practically like a ghost town if not for the River Hong Bao.
After eating, we walked around River Hong Bao for awhile coz it was still too early for the movie, Constantine. There were so many people there and the rides and games were darn EX!! It's like $2.50 a token and one game is 2 tokens!!! WTH?
Yesterday was the day of many first times. First time Marina Square is regarded as a supposedly 'ghost town'. First time I'll be watching Constantine. First time that GV Marina is PACKED! Haha. Really you know! Usually when I watch movie there, it's practically empty that you can like dance around and the staff probably won't care coz there's nothing for them to do anyway.
The movie wasn't so bad. Rachel Weisz [correct sp?] is so darn pretty!!! Keanu Reeves looks so deathy in the movie. But that's probably coz he's on the verge of dying of lung cancer. See what smoking does to you!!! Haha. One line of digression.
Had work yesterday night. Was quite fun lah. This morning went to airport to meet small boy Fahmy and at the same time send Nydia off. She's going Aussie to study. *pines* So good~~ I also wanna go there study!! But no money yet lah.. Haha.
Was playing this cute game that my younger cousin intro. It's called Magic Ball 2. Go try it.

Happy belated Valentine's Day everyone!!!
I know I'm a tad late. Ok ok I'm extremely late but hey, it's better late than never! *winks* [-.*] How has the new year been for all of you? Fruitful I hope! *chuckles* I know mine has and I have been travelling to numerous places for visiting and collection of ang baos! *big wide grin* Have been waking up early and coming back late at night just to sleep. It's a viscous cycle.
Anyway Valentine's Day just past. I headed to work as usual, actually was kinda lazy coz after the looooooong weekend, it's a drag to go back to work. I actually applied leave but it was disapproved! =( *sigh* So I reluctantly went to work and after work met Dearest. We chilled out, had our dinner at Magic Wok! Again! Lolx. Just love the beef hor fun there. It's probably the only food I eat there other than the fried wonton, which btw is also delicious. But with the hor fun, I'll be damn full. =P
We chilled around and chatted. I love hearing my Dearest talk. It's so interesting! Sometimes I have something logical to say which he agrees with but most of the time I'll be blabbering my mouth out. Wahaha. I talk too much nonsense lah. I'm just happy that he's able to withstand my blabbering and nonsense. =)

Damn those mosquitoes!! Stupid hot weather, it makes them all come out coz they too are hot. Just imagine, I killed a FREAKING TOTAL OF 11!!! WTF! Now I'm feeling itchy on my legs. Why do they have to bite me!?!?! *whines*
I still haven't applied leave for the upcoming one-day workshop yet. Bummer! Hope that I can get the leave if not Eddie's gonna kill me! Yikes~
Better bunk in now coz tomorrow's Daddy's birthday!! I still haven't bought him his present yet and 2 days later is bro's birthday AND I also haven't bought his yet! *sigh* Luckily I know what to get for them, if not i'll be in deep shit! Opps.. =X

I've changed my song~! Is it nice?? Haha.. Change it in preparation for V day which is soon approaching upon us.
Each time V day approaches, I would get really moody and upset coz it constantly reminds me of unpleasant stuffs such as everyone having a 'so-called date' or females getting flowers and chocolates whereas my friends, who are attached, would ask me for opinions about whether this or that gift would be suitable for their other halfs. *sigh*
Wonder whether this year I would get any of that?? *MAJOR HINT* It would be a pleasant change from staying at home, rotting while watching tv that usually airs romantic movies or read a romantic novels.
Speaking of novels, I find it extremely terrible to read romantic novels but I still do. Haha. Girls love reading these stories coz it sort of make their dreams come true. Like they get to be with the guy of their dreams who always seem to be so perfect, in the story of coz. But when you face reality, men are wayyy darn far from being perfect. But then again so are women.
So what is reality then? Is it the stories that were weaved in books or is it what that is happening in our lives? What if one day you wake up and realize that actually you are only a small character in a story book and that your story is like the novels that you have read?
I'm not making sense am I? Haha. *bleah* Must have inhaled too much smoke and read too much romantic novels. But really one just can't help dreaming of a guy who will sweep you off your feet. LITERALLY!
Well, gonna bathe now to cool off and also to get nice-smelling since I stink of smoke now. Haha. Relatives coming = MORE ANG BAOS!!! Wahahahaha.. *crackles*

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Seems like loads of people wants a share in my ang baos. Yikes!! I'm gonna be selfish and reject all of you. Sorry guys the ang baos are meant for ME and ONLY ME. Lolx. No hard feelings ya? You all will get your share when it's time.
Anyway, woke up early today and went to many places. First we went to the temple to 'visit' my mum's parents. Then on to the graveyard to put flowers for my grandfather. Everytime I'm back there, I'm reminded about the 3 years that I spent with him. He bought me everything I wanted. You could call me pampered and spoilt last time. But now... He's no longer around. Sometimes I feel that if he were still alive, things would have been slightly different...
Anyway after that went to eat roti prata before heading to my dad's friend's house for visiting, collected some ang baos, talked & eat some more [thankfully they were tidbits]! We then headed to Shop 'n' Save coz my mum forgotten to buy some food stuffs. Imagine me in my new year clothes walking around Shop 'n' Save. What a sight!
Since it was near my aunt's place so we went there and me feeling sleepy fell asleep on her couch. Haha. Dunno why I was so darn tired. But it sure felt shiok after the short nap. we had lunch at my uncle's place and I played Monopoly with my cousins for a short while before leaving. I was winning too. Darn!
My dad's side came over and we chatted, watched movie, gave me more ang baos... *grins* Soon it was time to head out again and this time to Marine Parade to my dad's friend's mum's place. Yes yes I know. Darn long connection. Lolx.
Now I'm back home feeling damn full and lazing around. Dunno what to do so I decided to blog. Just hang up the phone, talking to my Dearest. Really miss him loads.. *wistful look*

Sometimes I wonder... Wonder about what? I'm not to precisely sure about it myself. Haha. I'm just rhyming & crapping.
Just came back from shopping & movie. Managed to take half a day off so that I could spend some time with my Dearest & enjoy our monniversary. We went shopping for Xuan's present & managed to get it. I got my V day prezzie from Dear early too.
It's *drum roll* a BRAND NEW ORANGE NALGENE BOTTLE!! Haha. Since I lost my old one in Clementi's Macs' toilet. Don't probe further. It's too damn terrible to speak of. Ya I know it's orange again but I can't help loving the colour ORANGE. It's so bright & sunny. It's a happy colour. =)

After buying the presents, we WALKED all the way to Marina Square to catch the movie Finding Neverland. I picked loads of saga seeds along the way. Haha. The whole stretch of road was lined with the saga tree!! Is it called that? Not gonna tell you peeps if not wait all gone!!
Wahahahahaha.. Damn I'm mean! =P
Anyway, Finding Neverland is really a great show to catch. Touching, endearing & childishly exciting but not in the childish sense. It's really worth the 4 stars that was given by 8Days. You all should go catch it.
Tomorrow's a half day and the day after is CNY!! OMG can't wait. All the ang baos that I'll receive~ *dreams*

It's the start of a new month & it means I'll be changing duties. Another month, another lab.
Today is also my good gal pal, Felicia's FIRST DAY at work!! Haha.. She said all's well over there. Someday we'll meet for lunch k?
Just baked a batch of chocolate chip cookies for the impending CNY. Today gonna bake another batch of cookies. I doubt the batch I baked yesterday is enough so I'll be baking more during the coming week. Will be super busy busy busy.
