It's been nearly 2 weeks since I last blogged! Opps.. =X Have been pretty busy with work lah plus feeling tired most of the time & also my bro keeps on using the faster com to play his game, Maple Story. *rolls eyes* Wonder what's so nice about that game. Will have to try it out this weekend.
Let's recap. Fri was finally Fel's birthday. There were so many people there during the later part of the night but unfortunately I didn't get to see most of my poly friends except for Belle, Brian & Sam. *sigh* Was rather looking forward to have a chat with them to talk about old times & what's happening in their lives right now. Oh well, another time perhaps.
Anyway hope that she liked the presents that I gave her. *cross fingers*
Saturday was a day dedicated to spending time with my DARLING!! Haha. So happy that day, couldn't stop smiling the whole day. We walked around, went to Novena Square to have dinner at Magic Wok. Then went to Macs to have ice-cream. Met Regine there. *giggles*
Sunday was the day of my first driving lesson! Was so super nervous & excited that I could eat or drink anything. Stomach was feeling quesy like as if there were butterflies inside fluttering around.
When I started driving in the circuit, I was so excited that I kept making sure that I was doing the right things. The instructor told me that I was a natural driver & that I would learn & improve myself fast. *beams* Well it's rather true that I'm a fast learner! Haha.
After my driving, I met my Darling & we headed down to Sim Lim Square to get his hard drive. I think his 'hunger' for a hard drive with loads more space had rubbed off on me. Now with all the flyers that I had gotten from that day, I had passed it to my dad to help me see which hard drive is better & cheaper! Haha. Am finally gonna get myself more hard drive space so that I can install my games like Sims 2, Diablo 2, etc etc...
WooT! Can't wait sia! *anticipating*
Monday was the day for my 2nd driving lesson. Was also quite nervous coz 2nd lesson only mah!! Moreover the chances of me getting back the same instructor is very small. Anyway the instructor that I got this time reminded me so much of my lecturer, Alvin Poh!! OMG!!! It's so surreal! He even looks almost alike & talks similarly to Alvin Poh that I could help but wonder whether he was somehow or other related to him in some way? Haha. I told him about it also.
He was quite irritated with me coz I kept jerking when I brake. Keke. Somehow or other I just can't seems to get the right technique to brake yet. BUT not to worry coz I'm sure to get it correct in time to come. =)
That should be about all bah. My life's getting more & more boring now that it's the fasting month. Darling has to go home to break fast. But never mind, there's always the times after Hari Raya Puasa! Haha.

Yesterday I wanted to blog but my bro had to lock his room door. Nvm that, I managed to unlock it using the key when I realized that somehow the door was stuck. Thinking that it was the sofa that was covering the door, I tried pushing it. Imagine my horror when I saw a foot there!!
My stupid bro had actually slept directly behind the door in a bid to prevent others, most probably to my mum, to enter. Thus I couldn't turn on the modem for the internet.
BAH!
So in the end, I got fustrated & went to read my 8Days while talking to my Darling. Promptly at 2300, I went to switch on the tv to catch The O.C.!!! Yay! It's finally back after such a long absence.
Let's back track and start from morning. Went to work as usual, together with Darling. I was reading my Final Theory book while waiting for Darling at the MRT station. Gonna have my FTT [Final Theory Test] later on after work. Work soon ended after such a long day. Was really bored to death lah.. Not much samples to run.
Ate dinner at the foodcourt at SGH coz my test starts at 1930, which means that I would be damn hungry by the time I reach there, so had to eat dinner earlier so that I won't get gastric later during the test which might affect my performance. *winks*
I reached there damn early coz the train & bus came rather fast. Reached there, sat on the bench outside to read a little. After a few minutes, I looked around to look at whoever was going for the test later. There were so many people I tell ya. I think I saw my primary school friend, 'Chew Daniel'!!
Don't misunderstand, his name isn't really 'Chew Daniel' it's actually Daniel Chew but we change it to the other way round coz there were 2 Daniels in my class. The other one named, Daniel Nicholas Tan aka DNT or TNT [which he likes to call himself that *bleah*].
Ahhhh... *reminiscing the good old days* I still remember playing hop-scotch, five stones & zero point during recess! My most favourite game being five stones! I was darn good at it too! Heehee.
Back from the digression, I think he sorta remembered me coz he was like staring in my direction. I'm positive that it's him but I doubt he remembers me lah. All my primary school friends, or at least those few that I have kept in touch with these past few years, said I looked damn different. In other words, I've grown taller!
BAH!! Like DUH!! Who in the world won't grow after primary school?! Use your brains lor.. Tsk!
Anyway I continued reading my Final Theory book or I at least tried coz I was constantly falling asleep after every few lines. *chuckles* I finally gave up reading & just took 40 winks there. Guess who else I saw there?! Xin Chee!!!
Haha. Didn't know that he hasn't taken his FTT yet. Though I read from his blog that he was taking practical lessons. *jealous* Mine doesn't start until next Sunday! Talked to him while waiting for the test to start.
Luckily we managed to get into the same classroom. He took the same booklet as me!! Darn! I thought if he had taken a different booklet I could at least ask him what were the questions like. My book was Book D, which I found rather simple & easy. Hmmm.. Maybe that coz I just did 200 questions on Final Theory the day before & my photographic memory is THAT good! Haha.
I DO have a good photographic memory ok?!
I finished it rather fast, most likely in 35 mins coz I spent the last 5 mins making sure that I answered all the questions & to double re-shade my answers to make sure that it was clearly visible.

Went to work feeling quite happy, I wonder why also. *ponders* Maybe it's TGIF? But it can't be that coz I still have to work on Sat. *sigh* I still have to work 5 1/2 days a week. NOT FAIR!!!

After dinner, went to TM to catch the Jackie Chan's show 'New Police Story'. It was an action-pack, romantic comedy with Jackie crying loads of times. I think it's the first time I saw him crying so many times in a single movie.
It's quite nice so you guys, if you have't caught it, go catch it! It's also great for couples coz there the scene whereby Jackie used his whole division to help him propose to his partially disfigured girlfriend!
And all the ladies go "Awwwwwwwwwwwwww.. Do romantic!" Haha.

Went to work as usual. Not much samples today. Not that I'm complaining but it gets pretty boring with nothing much to do.
I had hoped that Darling would surprise me by fetching me from work but... *sigh* It's alright Darling. I'm not angry or upset with you kz?
I went retail therapy. Haha. Went to shop for Felicia's & Eliz's present. Felicia's birthday is coming up btw. It's next FRIDAY!! Haha. I managed to get the presents that I wanted to get for the both of them so I'm feeling very pleased with myself now. *grinning*
Bought myself this cute card holder to put my Ex-Link card coz my current card holder is super darn old liaoz. It has even gone black! *bleah* Also bought myself a Tinker Bell earring!!! Yay! have been looking for that ever since I saw it at one of the shops upstairs at Bugis Village. There were 2 types but I decided to take the stud one instead of the dangling one coz the latter being too heavy & quite ex. =P
Today woke up with a bad sore throat. Wonder why. I thought my mild sore throat was already better ever since I have been eating the antibiotics? Hmmm... Must be the Asam Fish that I took yesterday. Darn!

I'm sick!!! I've got UTI, URTI & GE. Damn!
For those non-science friends of mine, I shall explain these acronyms.
UTI = Urinary Tract Infection [wonder how the hell I got that *shrugs*]
URTI = Upper Respiratory Tract Infection [common for me]
GE = Gut sth, which I conveniently forgot =P]
Took so bloody long just to see the doc. *bleah* I must have spent almost half an hour waiting. After seeing the doc, she told me to go pee & bring the urine to her. So I did just that then when I returned, I was asking the nurse for directions as to whether I should pass it to her or just go right ahead into the room.
So the nurse told me to put 5 drops of my urine on the pregnancy test kit & then dispose of the urine. So I did that & when I came back, she tole me that she got us, as in me & another woman patient, mixed up coz both of us were wearing masks she couldn't identify us. *rolls eyes*
The nurse asked whether I could pee again, which obviously I CANNOT! No more water liaoz how to pee?! She gave me a cup & asked me to drink loads of water from the pantry. I drank like 4 cups before I managed to pee again.
Now I've got loads of many different medicines. Hiazz.. *sigh* Can only eat fish/chicken porridge for the next few days. Have to buy cranberry juice also to cure my UTI. =P
I shall now end with a joke titled: Malaysia vs Singapore
A Singaporean was on holiday in Malaysia. He was having his coffee, croissants, bread, butter & jam at the hotel's coffee house. A Malaysian man who was chewing gum, sat down next to him & started a casual conversation.
Malaysian : "You Singaporeans eat the whole bread?"

Singaporean : "Of course."
Malaysian (chuckling) : "We don't.. In Malaysia, we eat fresh fruit for breakfast, then we put all the peels, seeds & other left-overs in a container, recycle them, transform them into jam, before we sell it across to Singapore.."
This time, the Singaporean retorted: "Do you have sex in Malaysia?"
Malaysian : "Why, of course we do"
Singaporean : "Do you wear protection"
Malaysian : "Of course! We wear condoms."
Singaporean : "And what do you do with the condoms once you've used them?"
Malaysian : "We throw them away, of course."
Singaporean : "We don't. In Singapore, the government secretly puts them in a container, recycle them, melt them down into chewing gum & sell them across to Malaysia, & that's the real reason why we banned chewing gum in Singapore."

I'm back!!! I feel so guilty for not blogging for such a long time. *sheepish grin* Loads of things happened during the weekends & I can't wait to tell everyone!
Fri was supposed to go for my trial test but I changed my mind last minute partly due to the fact that I haven't really studied for it & also Eddie called me to say that some of the instructors were going to have dinner at Swensens at Orchard. Hmmm.. Was so tempted by that offer that I went. Haha. I felt like a glutton. =P
Ate breaded chicken & I managed to finish EVERYTHING!!! *eyes popping out* Imagine that! Lolx. It's really delicious lah.. You all should go try it out also if you haven't. *winks*
We talked crap lor.. Eddie, me, Nydia, Nick, Huaz & Glenn. From Glenn, I found out about XM's 'girlfriend' in Phuket. Wahahaha. His reaction!! Lolx. Unforgettable from the way Glenn described & acted out. =)
Talked about disco, falling into drains/holes & getting yourself injured, yoga, jobs & stuffs. Just basic crapping lah. If you should know how the instructors are by now. We parted ways at around 9 plus like that coz Glenn had to settle something at Holland V while Eddie was meeting someone. So me, Huaz & Nick walked towards the train station talking.
2 weird things happened today & it has something to do with pink! I had actually wore a pink blouse [I think] on Thurs so on Fri, I wore another pink shirt but it was different. A remark made by one of my collegues left me speechless. She asked whether I liked the colour pink? *aghast* I quickly defended myself by saying that pink was NEVER my favorite colour since young. Yellow was. Haha. Then they said "I like see you wearing pink so many times, it seems like you really like pink lor."

I DON'T REALLY LIKE PINK! IT JUST APPEALS TO ME COZ IT'S QUITE BRIGHT!!
Sheez. Anyway the 2ns thing that happened was when both me & Nick were waiting for the train at Orchard MRT station. We were standing at the door, which was quite near to the escalators coz we were both too darn lazy to move far. Less than 5 minutes later, this group of girls, probably sec 2s or 3s, since they were still out so late. Sec 4s would be busy stressing & studying to be out. Haha.
Anyway guess what that group of girls were wearing? It was like a Pink Parade lor!! Everyone of them were wearing a pink top. Some with a pink cap, pink bottoms, pink bags & even pink shoes! Sheezz.. It's like WAY WAY too much pink lor. I bet Xiaxue would have loved them. Those who didn't have pink bottoms, wore demin material type of bottoms.
Me & Nick started to move away real quick coz we were pinkified! Lolx. New word alert!!! Lolx. Then we started crapping about how the girls started their Pink Parade.
First they called each other the night before, telling everyone to be pink tml when they hang out. Those without any pink bottoms, had to wear something demin or jeans-like material. Then if suay suay really really don't have pink, then wear a colour that's related to pink, like for example, red! Haha. We had a good laugh about it.
I was smart to suggest dropping off at Dhoby Ghaut & taking the NEL to Outram & change train. Haha. We had seats!! I also met my CVSS camper, SAM!!
Went to eat another huge meal with Darling & his office mates at Seoul Garden. *bleah* I'm getting fatter!!!!! DIE!!

It's been a long since I last blogged. Haha. Been busy & lazy lah.. Doing stuffs & more stuffs! Lolx.
Didn't do any finger pricks or bleeding time these last few days coz there were none! Yay! But the number of specimens coming in is getting lesser and lesser. Hmmm... Until the point when I can just stone in the lab lor.. Haha.
Played badminton with Dear's friends on Monday. Didn't really exercise much coz there wasn't much running involved plus my shoes were a little loose. After badminton, went home to have dinner & do some stuffs.
Yesterday went for lessons 1 & 2 for final theory. My test is due next week!! Yikes! Hopefully I won't get tricked by the questions. Dear was so nice to send me there. *smilez*
Went to watch 'Art of The Devil' today with some of the instructors. Thanks to Huaz & Sydney for the free tixs which they had won for being the 'Best Instructor'. The show wasn't a horror show unlike what I had expected. The storyline is rather sad & kinda stupid lah.. It was also quite bloody & gruesome lor but I've seen worse when I watched 'Dog Soldiers'. Haha.
Feeling kinda sleepy now but I still have stuffs to do! Arghhh.. *panics* I think this week don't need to go home for dinner liaoz coz check out what day is tomorrow! Haha.. Then I will be going for the 2 trial tests on Fri. Moreover Sat still have to work then I'll be hanging out with my Dear!! Yay~
Tomorrow is PAY DAY!!! So excited!! My FIRST pay from a permanant job. WooT~

Before I start my post, HappySpecialEventsDay everyone!! Haha. It's a day declared by boss & myself. So cute right? Keke.
We went to catch a movie at GV Grand, as one of my wishes. But actually I meant the Gold Class one. Haha. Poor boss didn't know that but it wasn't his fault anyway I forgotten to be specific. Well he made one of my wishes come true too. *grins*
White Chicks was the movie we saw & I would definitely give it 5 laughters outta 5! Haha. It was damn hilarious. Laughed until I cannot laugh anymore. I'll gladly recomment everyone, who haven't caught the show, to go watch it.
You might think it's nothing special but the fact that he trys to fufill some of my wishes is soooooo touching! *everyone goes "Awwwwww"* =) Thanks alot DARLING!! *muacks*
Now I still can't understand why the heck people like to stare at me?! *hRuMpH* It's not like I look weird or something or that I'm an *gasp* AN ALIEN?! Sheeez peeps give me a break. While waiting for the shuttle bus to take us back to City Hall, there was this couple sitting on the side. Upon reaching outside, the guy kept staring at me lor. I was pissed so I stared back! But he actually had the nerve to continue staring.
BAH! So I continued staring until he finally turned his head & chat with his gf/wife. Whatever!
Tomorrow is another working day. *sigh* Hopefully there aren't that many samples for me to process. *fingers crossed*
